01Who we are
IGNISIS LLC ("IGNISIS", "we", "us") is a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, with its address at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #10354, Casper, WY 82609. We help businesses build dedicated offshore IT teams and provide helpdesk, project, web application and disaster recovery services.
For personal information collected through this website, IGNISIS is the data controller — we decide how and why it is processed.
02Scope
This policy covers:
- Visitors to ignisis.net.
- Prospective clients who contact us by form, email or phone.
- Business contacts at our clients, partners and suppliers.
When our teams handle data inside your systems as part of a service engagement (for example helpdesk tickets or DR environments), we act as a processor on your behalf. That processing is governed by our client agreement and Data Processing Agreement, not this website policy.

04How we use it
| Purpose | Legal basis (where GDPR / UK GDPR applies) |
|---|---|
| Respond to enquiries and schedule meetings | Steps prior to a contract; legitimate interests |
| Prepare proposals, action plans and deliver services | Performance of a contract |
| Operate, secure and troubleshoot the website | Legitimate interests |
| Send occasional service updates (if you opt in) | Consent — withdraw any time |
| Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation |
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
07International transfers
As an offshoring business, our team and service providers operate in more than one country, including the United States and Sri Lanka. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live.
Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK or other regions with transfer restrictions, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms.
08How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that don't become clients | 24 months from last contact, then deleted |
| Client contact and contract records | Duration of the relationship plus 2 years, then deleted unless a longer period is required by law |
| Server logs | Request (runtime) logs are held only short-term by our host, DigitalOcean App Platform, and are cleared when the application is redeployed. We do not forward or archive them. Build and deployment logs, which contain no visitor data, are kept for 90 days. Logs may be kept longer if needed to investigate a security incident. |
| Marketing preferences | Until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent |
09How we protect it
Security is core to what we do. Safeguards include:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) across the website and our email systems.
- Multi-factor authentication and role-based access to business systems.
- Least-privilege access — team members only see what their role requires.
- Confidentiality obligations for all staff and contractors.
- Monitoring, patching and backup practices aligned with those we deliver to clients.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

You have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing". We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any rights.
